The fair question, answered up front

Is this just a way to sell an annuity?

The strategy in the film uses a fixed indexed annuity. It is simply the vehicle, and it is not for everyone. The session exists to find out whether it fits you, and the honest answer is sometimes no.

Educational only. Any guarantee discussed is backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurer and is not FDIC-insured or bank-guaranteed.

Said plainly, before you book

  • Not for growth-first investors
  • Surrender periods limit access to your money for years
  • Growth annuities: carriers generally cap around 75% of assets
  • Conversions are taxable in the year converted and cannot be undone

Before you book

The three questions everyone asks.

What does the meeting cost?

Nothing. The meeting is complimentary and there is no obligation. Annuity Explained is an educational resource and matching service, not an insurance agency, and how we're compensated never depends on you buying anything. If you ever choose to buy a product through an advisor, the advisor may be paid a commission by the insurer. Ask them exactly how they are compensated.

Am I committing to anything by booking?

No. The call is education only. No products are named, no rates are quoted, and nothing is sold. You can end the call whenever you like, and if an annuity or IUL is the wrong fit for your situation, the advisor should say so plainly. So will we.

Who will I meet with?

A licensed insurance professional team, introduced to you after you request a session. We keep identities off this page on purpose: nobody should be selling to you while you're still learning. You'll receive their names and background by email before the call.

Not ready yet? That's fine. Read the retirement tax picture, or start with what an annuity actually is.
